Ghost of a Chance: phantasmomania
When Casper heard the party news—
And learned who’d volunteered for hosts—
He felt the fading of his blues,
For these would all be friendly ghosts.
Oh, not that Casper was afraid
Of other phantoms and the like.
For he obsessed o’er every shade
And specter—Pat or George or Mike.
So he was not unhappy when
He woke up and was very dead.
He now was what he should have been—
A ghost now floating overhead.
