And walked the land that he had walked,

Combining words with looks.

His ranch is in Glen Ellen, and

I met his daughter there.

Yes, Becky was still much alive—

A thrill beyond compare.

I hiked the trails around his ranch—

I saw where he had died.

I saw his grave up on a hill—

Addicted! Certified!

I still can see those lovely hills—

The redwoods—stunning trees.

Those years when I could do so much—

Not similar to these.
