Sound and Sense, 2-9

Time for more instances of the homophone: a word pronounced the same as another but differing in meaning, whether spelled the same way or not, as heir and air.

1 him (obj. pronoun): objective form of he
2. hymn (noun): a religious song; a song that praises God; a song of praise or joy

He often acted like a dunce.

In fact, I heard that, on a whim,
He once composed a hymn to him-
