And here, where Willa Cather lies*,
She also lived for several years.
The mountains here—New Hampshire skies—
They stay, but life soon disappears.
Her grave—a very modest one—
Lies in a very quiet spot.
Reminding us: When all is done,
A quiet place is all we’ve got.
