the Bones of the Body

These are
among the magic three—
That form
the tarsal bones we need,
The bones
that work in harmony
To give us
grace, to give us speed.
The cuneiform
lie near the edge,
Where they
get bumped from time to time.
But I can
now so surely pledge
These bones are really cool—sublime!
