List #14: (i) ephemeral, (j) voluptuary
So much seems so ephemeral—
This thought just rattles in my skull.
Our looks, our youth—not permanent.
A guy I’ve met knows what that’s meant:
“Voluptuary”—that’s the brand
He earned—all trim and tanned.
But then he aged—turned slack and gray—
And had to live another way.
