You have a prepossessing face—
While mine, of course, is a disgrace.
Vagaries of this life and time
Produced both you and me. And I’m
Not satisfied that all is fair—
But many people just don’t care.
They figure if they’ve surged ahead,
It’s all because of talent. Bred
As they were (silver spoons and all),
They make “less fortunate” seem small.
