Teacher’s Final List
List #1: (g) venerable, (h) emoluments
So he thought that because he was venerable
That his payments should greatly increase.
His emoluments ought to become, he would say,
So much fatter they would be obese!
But his boss disagreed—and his co-workers, too.
His request was just flatly denied.
When he heard that sad news, he was so thunderstruck
That he fell on the floor and he died.
