A small bone
in the middle ear—
The malleus,
its name.
Vibrations
are its task—to pass
Them on—yes,
that’s the game!
The ear drum
is adjacent, and
It throbs
with telling waves,
And in our
brain those waves are sounds—
From our
ears’ tiny caves.
