Weathering

Weathering

The weather changes—so do we.
How exquisite—such harmony.
With clouds our melancholy thrives.
The sun returns to warm our lives.
The ice reminds us all of hell—
And fiery days do that as well.
In autumn, leaves will color, fall.
The trees are bare—no hope at all.
And then a crocus leads the way,
Reminding us with plain display
That weather changes—so do we.
How exquisite—such harmony.

Susie wants for Halloween to
Dress up as a banshee.
Every little girl can’t get her
Wishes, oh, now can she?

The Capulets. The party starts. And soon
Our lovers meet and see the lovers’ moon. (1.5)
